Madeira to Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria
... filled the sails and the trip was done entirely by motor. But the seas were calm, beautiful and brimming with life. Over the three days we enjoyed indian cuisine, attempted at fresh fish and conversations covered a wealth of topics. We saw the odd turtle enjoying the sunshine and a beautiful and lively pod of 12 dolphins came to dance in the bow wave. In the distance we saw the blow hole signs of whales, the tail up the air display and the odd riding fin.

Chillin on the Beach in Africa - Almost...
... so we didn't stay long). We just had a super relaxing day in the sun, and then had a cute dinner on our balcony.
The second day we bought tickets for a "Dolphin Catamaran Excursion", it was our splurge for the week. A bus picked us up at our apartment and then took us to Puerto Rico (another beach town) where we caught a catamaran that took us dolphin and whale watching! It was really fun, we had lots of cocktails, and they played music so everyone was dancing. ...
Hols with the Family
... quite amazing how tired you can get doing absolutely nothing!! The weather has been just about perfect, mid 20's, sunny and a cooling breeze. There was a little rain this morning but by 11am it had gone and it wasn't heavy in the first place.
We have also had some great meals with our old favourite 'Canarios 1' at Aquinequin, being the standout meal so far.

Dann ging es ab nach Gran Canaria, unsere 120 Fragebogen wurden von den
armen Touristen ausgefuellt und 14 Touristen und 14 Tourismus Experten
wurden interviewed. Das war alles sehr viel Arbeit, da die Touris
natuerlich keinen Bock hatten in ihrem Urlaub gestoert zu werden und wir
bestimmt 5 mal so viele ansprechen mussten wie die, die dann am Ende
mitgemacht haben. Aber wir waren ja zusammen und es hat trotzdem Spass ...
