Op de rechteroever slaat de torenklok een keer vaker dan op de linkeroever: in Spanje is het een uur later. <br>Drie stukjes film: weer dolfijnen, de eerste die we in de Algarve tegen kwamen, blijft voor ons erg leuk, ik hoop voor jullie ook. Dit keer een wat grotere varieteit. Het tweede stukje film is uit de zoutwinning bij het plaatsje Tavira waar kluten, reigers en lepelaars fourageren. Het derde stukje film zijn wat beelden in en rond de Guadiana, de grensrivier.

... Atlantic. Lots of smallish waves roll in - not in sets like in Perth but just one wave after another. They weren't good enough to body surf but that didn't stop us from trying.<br><br>Friday sees us travelling by train to Faro then changing to the express to Lisbon to our apartment. ... s centre streets are cobbled, narrow and one-way. We´ve spent Sunday afternoon &amp; evening and Monday just walking around the town, exploring and soaking up the atmosphere. Lots of coffees, pastries and beer. Food and drink is really cheap (expresso $1.10, beers are about $2.20 for a stubby). <br><br>We´ve been practising our very limited Portugese - I think we can say about 3 expressions so far! It's 9.45 am local time as I step off the Ayamonte - Vila Real de Santo Antonio ferry. ARRIVED from Sevilla i was trying to get to lisbon, portugal but the train line stopped in Huelva. the bus from there to portugal didnt leave for 8 hours (it was a holiday, so everything was closed, i couldnt even find anything to eat except at the bus station and no cars and no map so i wasnt about to hitchhike) not much to do all day other than my usual- skateboard, nap, read, walk around... ... hostel on the other side of the river in Alcoutim. As Marcus is still not feeling that great, we head acros the river and the nice old man drops us off at a dock just next to the hostel. WE arrive just as it starts to pour with rain, and gratefully settle in to a very cheap room all to ourselves in a massive new youth hostel, with a kung fu movie on TV (Marcus is happy anyway). 43km cycled, and a new speed record for Marcus (Sue, don't read on) - 70.5kph!!
