We started the morning off enjoying breakfast at Kona in the Polynesian resort. Their house specialty is Tonga Toast, which is a thick slice of French bread stuffed with bananas, dipped in a batter and deep fried golden brown. Cinnamon sugar is then sprinkled over it and it is served with a strawberry purée, Hawaiian seasoned potato wedges and a side of bacon or sausage. So after breakfast we headed back to the castle to do the Forbidden Journey ride one last time, followed by another spin on the Dragons Challenge and one last Butter Beer (they are so delicious) we bid Harry Potter World a fond adieu and headed into the land of Jurassic Park.

After another thrilling bus ride, we made it to Typhoon Lagoon just as it opened. I think we were the first or second people through the gate. We immediately dipped our toes in the "Castaway Creek" (their lazy river ride, this is ...
... of course). We finally made it to the KOA in Kissimmee, and we started to settle in.
As we were extending the slide-out, we heard a very unnerving sound: it was a grinding noise coming from the slide-out mechanism. Not a good sign. We pulled the slide back in and lived with it closed up for the night. It’s off to Camping World in the morning to have it checked out.
