My Wonderful and Horrifying Tour of Yinchuan
... pretty much do anything we wanted as long as we returned to the dock by 11:30 AM to go back to the entrance of the park, which meant we basically had about an hour and a half to ourselves. We walked through a small museum in the park and then kept going when we passed by an area offering camel rides. Loving animals as I do, I really couldn't resist. So I left the group to ride a camel.

Failed Attempt but Salvaged Day

Arrival in Yinchuan
... drinks, and snacks. I then hauled my bounty back to my room, where I ate entirely too much but was extremely satisfied and comfortable. I soon went to sleep in my cozy bed very content.

1:30pm: We board buses that take us to our hotel in downtown YinChuan. The city has a much different character than Shanghai. We drove past some pretty depressed areas on the route, something we didn't see in Shanghai.
