    First on this trip, Angie and I had a few days to recover ( and defrost from the Canberra/Melbourne winter) in Paris with Kate. Alan still toughing it out at home for a couple of weeks as he has a concert to play. Flew to Lisbon for a great week there. What a fabulous city! So relaxed and laid back.....but I feel sorry for the older residents.....how on earth do they negotiate the hills in the centre of town. ...

    We went for an afternoon cycle to look at the beach but wind was very strong still and not suitable for me. It's interesting to see that the rock formations as you drive along or on the beach coves are very volcanic in nature……that will be another thing to google when I go home. I rather enjoy seeing things on holidays and in my Winter ...

    ... English neighbours have a ladder on the rear of their van. They reverse their van alongside ours, and, I am able to climb up the ladder on their van, so detach the handle.It is dry and sunny, a trip to buy bread, vegetables, and top up my internet SIM, using the scooter for the first time.
