      ... beaches along that coastline but the then sprinkling and overcast weather didn't let us properly experience it.

      After Tulum we headed back towards Playa del Carmen but stopped at the Cristallino Cenote (a pool formed by crumbling limestone) along the way for a swim in the beautiful clear and refreshing water (it was back to being sunny and hot by then).       ... 7 restaurants, bars, and a private beach. Amazing! Thank you John! A lovely end to a magnificent holiday.

      Mexico, Guatemala and Belize were all so full of life and each people so faithful in their destiny as a nation. There were appalling pockets of poverty and equally appalling pockets of lavish wealth. There were lots of surprises too: we nearly always traveled on very good roads!
