This morning I woke and got ready to head down stair for a delicious breakfast. I tried the natto, it's natural and good for you, but plenty nasty. The hot spring egg is simple delicious in the sauce. At 10 am, Mr .Narita pick Yaling, her two kids and me up and head off to Oarari, a famous local place for seafood. I had a great night sleeping after switching to this new hotel. Woke up around 7:30 Am and went for a delicious Japanese breakfast. The offering include salad, assortment of vegetable and side dishes. There is also grilled mushrooms, miso soup. My favorite is the salty fish roe, it only goes well with rice. I am thoroughly impressed with The Japanese food that even the simplest ingredients such as red cherry tomato has a sweet taste to it. ...

I have a bit tired from a week of fast paced traveling , I slept in today didn't really wake up until 920 am. I was suppose to wake up at 730 am but. This morning, after a quick breakfast, I went back to the morning fish market a bought some dried scallop before heading back to the Ryokan for check out. At the Hakodate JR station, I exchanged my JR rail pass and booked the ticket for Tokyo. The train starts at Hakodate,make a stop at Shin Aomori before I make a transfer to the Shinkansen to Tokyo. After the slow the kids were treated like rock stars greeting the public in the lobby.

We returned to the hotel where there was a big reception party with food and dancing. I may or may not have had a little more yuzu sake.

The next morning the Hotel slaff at Mashikokan gave us a great send off complete with singing and signs and it was off to Tokyo!
