... normal person not to bothersome but to someone with ringing in the ears and SEH the sound is very loud and intense and pure torture!! I walked with my headphones on and capped my ears with my hands whole way to and from 7 eleven. I must have looked crazy to the uncoming cars and walkers as I walked but it was either that or have a major crying fit. I will not miss that sound. OMG!!! Sometimes seeing the 'normal stuff' through fresh eyes is really refreshing (her compliments didn't hurt much either, ha!). Getting spoiled with all these ME days but I think it has helped with my general health. I am at the best I have been in 2 and half years and nearly 1 year (August 2) since brain surgery. I feel strong and centered. I feel I can tackle anything now. This place has brought me so much peace and calmness to my soul and mind. I so needed it. I have learned a lot about myself.
