... After the tour we looked at the space artefacts and watched a few movies/documentaries. There isn't as much to see and do at the center compared to Kennedy so we left at about 3pm a little disappointed (spoiled perhaps at going to Kennedy first). For dinner we got some Chinese food and called it a night. Another drive today, this time to Seabrook which is 20 minutes south of Houston. It was a 4 hour drive and we were surprised by the amount of greenery and trees around during the drive. Rich leaves for work at 5:15 am and as he was leaving, Kateva woke up and our day began. After all the routine morning stuff, we were on our way.

We had smooth sailing until we were about six miles outside of Baton Rouge and then it was dead stopped. It took us about an hour to get over the bridge and my nerves were just about shot by then.

... were given a fried oreo and thought it was delicious too - groan from mother...there was fried pecan pie, fried onion rings, fried zucchini, french fries, fried marshmellows, funnel pies (looks like waffles topped with icing sugar) - the list goes on and most of which had absolutely no appeal!
