Fortunately, everything was on time for our flight home today. We took a taxi to Charles De Gaulle and departed right around 12:30pm. Our 8.5 hour flight to Washington, DC was fairly smooth (except for a little turbulence upon our descent). It was suppose to be for the Apollo 18 mission that was scrapped due to budget cuts. The rocket was huge. A real impressive piece of 60s technology. ... a new pair of shoes, I bought a new of shoes, last time, I got a new pair of shoes! I was so excited! For the first time in my remembrance Rosalind didn’t buy ANY, WHAT??!!!!! Then, it was on to Walmart for a few last minute toiletries and other things. On the way back to the hotel we picked up dinner, a BBQ plate from Stockyard Smokehouse Restaurant and Rosalind got a Jimmy Johns sandwich with chips.
