Oakwood at Symphony Place Minneapolis

The next morning we went to IKEA by the mall and then to the local casinos. No luck on winning but it was fun. After the casinos we started to head back to Milwaukee.

Today we woke up late again, but headed out to Minnesota after eating lunch. It was a late start at about noon. The 7 hour drive was frightening as there was snow falling down when we drove through Iowa. At several stretches, we drove only 20 mph because of all the snow. Today I traveled via e-mail from home to Kampala, Uganda. Because of the 8 hour time difference, I didn't arrive in Kampala until the next day though. Boy is that a long trip! I was so tired and went straight to bed. I got to sleep ...

... to London tomorrow don't mind that I smell like a mixture of Pledge, Windex, and Scrubbing Bubbles. I have every good intention of updating this blog as we go but technology and timing may not agree with that plan. ... call to cancel my ice cream date with Chloe and proceed to Hastings. Kia and I were supposed to meet Mike and Patty for dinner at Coates but we(I) thought it would be best to not meet due to the weather.  It actually worked out well as Mike had to pick up his mom at the airport, go to Northfield and back, and then get Patty before going to dinner.  Not a could idea in this weather to be on the roads.  So for dinner, Kia and I munched and watched TV.
