Our last full day in San Francisco. We had to take a ride in one of the iconic cable cars into the centre, where the all the boys did some retail therapy in Macy's. Even Josh and Ben, who hate clothes shopping! Sharon for once, did not!

... get to Rachael's place in Berkeley and it is gorgeous. Our room is beautiful, the towels are nice and fluffy and we get our own bathroom. She works hard at a start up in the city so is hardly home, the place is practically ours.
After dumping the bags we take a walk around the neighbourhood and pick up fruit, cereal and milk. We then grab dinner at the local burger joint. We share a turkey burger with salad and much too much fries.

Back out on the bus, went to City Lights bookstore - great place! We browsed for a while, and bought a few things. This is an independent bookstore, with wooden shelves and small connected rooms; I could spend many hours there.
