unexpected bonus of being parked near Jan & Steve - who are close
friends who now live in Arizona!!

I left Chicago on the Fourth of July for one reason and one reason only: to see fireworks from a plane. I smushed my head against the window and almost spilled my overcooked noodles, but I was successful in seeing a couple tiny tiny tiny fireworks from my seat on the freezing plane.

After an exciting summer in New Mexico I will begin my next big adventure: Ireland! Tomorrow, my family and I will begin our trip. We will spend a week and half traveling around Ireland. On August 29th, I will move into my new apartment in Galway. My family will spend a few days heading back to the United States while I attend orientation and get settled at the National University of Ireland at Galway. After a week of wandering, I finally reached my main goal, visiting my family in Minneapolis.
