As they were included in our city pass, we visited two museums - the Exploratorium and the California Academy of Sciences. The first one is a one where you can touch everything and try thousand different things out. Which is fun, but you notice immediately that the museum is made primarily for children. ... very pleasant drive, though we do have to take some temporary bridges, as the main road is closed in some sections due to landslides. We end up again in Mariposa, but this time we only stop for fuel and a quick rest break, before heading up north along Highway 49.
