This is a lovely, quiet campground beside the white river. I was the only RV and my section which was next to a side stream. I walk the loop as it began to sprinkle, so I returned to the RV and had supper. A major lightning and thunderstorms began about midnight and lasted till 230. ... It was nice to have a little browse.
Unfortunately we had just had brekky so we couldn't justify buying the fresh baked goods... the smell made it very tempting!
We went to the movies to see X-men. $8.50... so cheap! The seats in the theatre were so so comfortable! The movie wasn't too bad either. Being a Wed arvo we pretty much had the theatre to ourselves.
Afterwards we played a round of 'Glow in the Dark Mini Golf'. ...

Sadly because of roof maintenance we were unable to see\walk onto the field which was pretty disappointing. Interestingly enough both of us were extremely surprised at how small the field actually is in real life. It looks much bigger on TV!

Fun Fact - The stadium cost $719 million to build and the capacity is 69,000 people.

... although all drivers escaped unharmed, the final accident bringing out a red flag to stop the race with 8 laps to go. That decision meant that there were 6 green flag racing laps to the finish and the 200,000 plus crowd were rewarded with the second closest finish in race history with American Ryan Hunter-Reay taking the victory.
