From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

The next day, we went to Mama's work where there was a grand Elmo party. It was great to see everyone. Addy really enjoyed the salami and honey sesame cashews! She also loved the frosting off the cake. There were so many presents! We had clothes, books, a shopping cart, hand-painted personalized Frozen shoes, ...

... utensils. We thought she may be left-handed, but today she decided to use her right hand mostly. She does not mind the toothbrush and will multi-task when playing with toys. She will say "dog" and their names, Dirk and De De. For her pacifier, she will make the "P" sound. She also knows that we named her Chinese doll Mulan and she knows which one is her panda ...

... car. It's like a tinker toy I used to play with during my childhood years. So precious, I named her Sophia. She's small yet packs a little bunch - kinda like Sophia Petrillo from the Golden Girls. Haha So I'm sitting in Sophia, car started, and have no clue where to go.
