The little 'plane safely tucked away in the hangar, the FBO again kindly loaned us the use of the courtesy car for the evening as we were unable to arrange a hire car rental until the following day. We had arrived in the area a week earlier than anticipated and as Philip and Susan had house guests, we stayed in a nearby hotel on Lake Ray Hubbard. ... type of collie he was which ended out argument at that we were both half right lol! Must have made entertainment for people walking past us. We then headed back and stopped for a drink and nibble at the ice house. It's a cute outdoor restaurant that has screens for football. We shared some cheesy fries whilst waiting for Carlie and Bailey her dog to join us! Very addictive those cheese fries so had to quit while I was ahead remembering I'm in a bikini ...

... feats of engineering, but the actual practice of starting and stopping in traffic isn't one I enjoy. However, I will certainly miss my family, friends, favorite barbecue joints (The Slow Bone, for those needing a BBQ fix in Dallas), and time at Wake.

Now the great dilemma of waiting for a flight begins: browsing Netflix. Fingers crossed for a good movie/show.

... here again. We settle in for the evening and find, to our delight, that we have HOT water. Wow - I love things that fix themselves! Later that evening, I am reading emails and read a post from one of John's inquiries saying that some late model RVs have a system that heats the hot water as you travel so it is not interrupted every time you are on the road. MAKES SENSE. BAH! HUMBUG!
