Today we had class for a little while in the morning then started to get ready to board the bus following lunch. A fancy Cardinal bus arrived at the PERC to pick us up! That's what I have been learning.. Have been multitasking many thing for past month -booking tickets, calling people, sketching out accommodations, gifts to get, efficient backpack etc etc .
Despite much planning, the journey remains unknown!

rainy and it was very cold as we were walking around. We walked to the nearest metro station and caught it around the loop, taking the wrong line at one point.
We eventually got to our destination, got off and walked around to the Willis tower. We got tickets and went up the tower, but alas it was very cloudy, occasionally the clouds would part and you could see a few hundred meters. ...
... br> So we had a late start, a long walk to the L station and caused a fair bit of disruption trying to buy our seven day passes. The customer assistant had to come out of her cage to tell us the machine doesn't accept Aussie credit cards. She started off grumpy, but we had her laughing in the end.
Went in to the Daley Plaza for the Christkindlmarket, based on a traditional German celebration. It was outside and so cold not even a mug ...
