The flights will put me into Tucson by 1pm hopefully. We are to meet the Bell family and then....

I did not have the opportunity to blog again before I left Indianapolis; I did get to attend one last session in the morning, It was the Episteme Laureate Presentation. It was given by Dr. Mary Naylor who was the recipient of the Joan K Stout Research Grant. Dr. Taylor is from the University of Pennsylvania and she has been a leader in the field of nursing by developing and implementing the Transitional Care Model primarily for older adults ...
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States ckopac... best things about Conferences is that we see old friends and colleagues that otherwise are not available.
I will vote as a Delegate for members of the STTI Board tomorrow morning and then leave at lunch time. I will try to do one more posting before I leave. If not, I'll catch up with you when I'm home.

And then.....well I went on to several receptions one of which included a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit.....that and a glass of wine ended my day!
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States ckopacHello, again! Unfortunately, there will be no more pictures.....at the Tribute Award Luncheon today my camera got wet when someone accidently spilled water at the table. I suspect I will need to purchase a new camera....a little time will tell.....I think the camera's brain was "fried".
Anyway, onto the day.....While there were presentations throughout most of the afternoon, the morning and the noontime luncheon were all about awards. Nursing ...

I took a picture of Jessica so that we can relate to her a little more personally through the coming months. We plan to meet after registration is over and have a brief discussion about our Chartering process.
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States ckopac... and technology now makes attendees responsible for bringing our own support handouts. Profiles for candidates running for office have their bios on recorded audio files and they are available for delegates to listen to; these need to be reviewed before voting. It should be exciting to see all of the delegates seated for the convention; there is a published seating ...
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States ckopacGood day although a bit windy. It kept me awake, most of the time... Sunny here and a balmy 10C forecast for tonight. Great WiFi connection, lots of digital channels (33) on the antenna, countless ones on cable plus the satellite (any idea why?). Time to read a bit to get comfy with my upcoming Vietnam trip. As they say everywhere now, have a good one! Jacques
