MGM was in full swing because it is hosting "the fight of the century" this weekend. The fight is the talk of the town with posters and promotions everywhere. We weren't interested in the fight, just wanted to get a picture of the "animal chairs" so we pulled up a booth in the Rainforest Cafe. Raiding the Rock Vault is a two(ish) hour concert where the band plays a whole bunch of rock songs from the eras spanning Jimi Hendirix through to the Eagles. When you have been on holiday for 5 months, the last week has to be a party week in Vegas.

We could have blasted up the I 15 freeway, but we took the slower, more scenic drive up through the Mojave Desert. K has never really been to a desert before.

... makes the worlds highest calorie burgers. As we arrived the staff greeted us in nurse or doctor uniforms and we had to wear a hospital gown for our meal. Above the bar on the ceiking was a huge stethescope, and a doctor was serving drinks at the bar. We ordered drinks; Hilton and Val a beer, Hoop a mix in a urine sample jar, and I had red wine in an IV bag!
