... We headed out about 8am and took the monorail a couple stops up to the Venetian. The aim was to take the monorail to the north of the Strip and walk back down as far as the Luxor. We both took loads of photos, some below, inside and out of the hotels we visited. They are amazing! Still feels like a fantasy world which of Samson commented, "It's all so fake."

We were equally all annoyed that the whole process lasted more almost twice as long as promised. We were all DYING to get back to our original hotels. The bus ride was filled with the strongest bond that humanity has to offer: the bond created by those who were fooled into going to a terrible timeshare presentation.

Long story short, we got ...

... couch surfing. He took me to see the old area of downtown Vegas and then invited me out with his friends. We went to the other side of town to a birthday party where we had delicious Mexican food and played beer pong. Over the next few days I met some cool people at the hostel to hang out with. We visited the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign, the Harley Davidson shop, and walked the strip during both the day and the night. We spent ...
