Set off for a leisurely trip on Amtrak from Penn station to Washington . NYC was hot but DC ,( get the jargon ? ) much hotter about 38 deg. & very humid We met our landlady after a bit of a wait a very nice apartment awaited us centrally placed and an easy walk to all the attractions .
