Today we are touring DC with our bikes so that we can get to see more as the Mall itself is over 2.5 Miles long and it is over 100 again with Humidex. Drive 10 minutes to Metro and take it into town, it stops right at the Smithsonian. Gotta love this town as there are 16 FREE Museums that comprise the Smithsonian and each one could take you a day to see if you let it! We start with the Air and space museum and it is very good ...

We then walked on and viewed the Korean War Memorial, and the DC war memorial. The next stop on the monument trial was the World War II Memorial - this was a thought provoking memorial which was set out in each state over a beautiful water fountain.
