I could just hear the honking of the Amtrak horn intermittently, as we sped along past bays, over rivers, through wooded areas, alongside roads / industrial plots, towns and houses only meters away. main Homewood campus, a place I have actually been once before. Johns Hopkins
was one of the universities that admitted me that I went to visit when trying

Tomorrow starts my trip to Rome,Italy. Torsten and I (and apparently 18 other CUA students) are flying out of the Philadelphia International Airport at 6:20pm and will arrive at the Rome Fiumicino Airport at 9:05am Friday morning. I think the plan is to try and get some sleep on the plane so I'm not a complete zombie on Friday. Pray for a safe flight. Check back on Friday for my next post.

Outside of Baltimore's World Trade Center there was a memorial to the victims of 9-11 made with some twisted girders from the wreckage and in the harbour was the only remaining ship which survived Pearl Harbour. There was also a tall ship which took me back ...

... shirt that also survived from my youth. I only own two short sleeved shirts, this one and a hawaiian one in case of emergencies (see:fancy dress). I'm not a fan of the bat wing sleeves. As such Hawaiian shirts and Gav Shirts cannot be the same thing despite most peoples assumptions to the contrary. The shirt from back in the day I actually bought when I was about 14 (good to know I still fit into the clothes of a child), and only ever wore it once before ...
