... a Island Ranger greets everyone and musters them for an 'Island Brief'. A few people had headed directly up the hill to the Cell House Audio Commentary. I skipped the 'brief' and headed directly up the hill, leaving behind the 200+ others all standing around the Ranger. That was a blessing...by the time I got put the hill to the Cell House there were only about 20 other people...BONUS!!

Fisherman's Wharf was interesting, although, true to the U.S. capitalist ethos, it was heavily commercialized. Still, the seafood was yummy and the atmosphere great, with street performers, lots of music, and gorgeous views out over the bay.
