Wednesday - To be honest, today kind of sucked, I didn't have anything to do and I only got 5 and half hours of work today. Best part about the day was that we got cake! It was 3 peoples birthdays at work so we got 2 types, yum. Since I wasn't feeling in a good mood I decided that a bath and a book was what I needed but first a Skype chat with mum. ... looked amazing. I opted for the waffle with fresh berries and James had a full traditional breakfast....let me tell you that waffle was the best *******n waffle I have ever had!!!! They had the most amazing looking muffins, croissants etc too, but the waffle was so big there was no way I could fit anything else in.
After breakie we headed down to Pier 33 to take the ferry to Alcatraz. I would probably say that the best thing about Alcatraz was the ferry ride - stunning ...
... the road, which turned out to be a pretty big upgrade and a nice surprise! After our early start we didn't feel up for too much touristing, so we went to the nearby 50's diner and drank our weight in milkshake instead.

Today, we took the transit bus to the Golden Gate Bridge. You can actually walk the entire bridge but we only walked to the first tower. They really have a nice exhibit on how the bridge was built. Of course, it was foggy today, as it is everyday so we really did not see the entire bridge. San Francisco was pretty clear though.
... s dogs and coyotes live in the hills behind the house. Jake and I walked to to a nearby local Italian restaurant for dinner (being vigilant for rattlesnakes on the way!).
