What a perfect morning, it's hot but not as hot and humid as recently. Did my 2 mile walk around the deck and the sun was up long before me and I was out at 7.45. There are so many dolphins it's becoming the norm, passengers are becoming blasé about it now. Haven't seen any whales or turtle yet but flying fish are everywhere we look. Paul won this mornings shuffle board competition which earned him a gold star, the more you collect the bigger the prize at the end if ...

We fly out this evening so we spent the morning trying to organise the suitcases. There is so much stuff to take home!!!!!
Thank you so much to all our friends who have read this blog. I have enjoyed writing it and after 4 weeks are looking forward to getting home.

... the cable cars on the streets. They are the main tourist attraction and fairly expensive (6$ for a ride!), but the public transportation is for free if you buy the SF City Pass (84$). Apart from free public transport for 7 days, it also includes the entrance to the Exploratorium, the California Academy of Sciences, either Alcatraz or a bay boat tour and the entrance to either the SF or the Monterey Aquarium (we decided to go to the latter one).

He then proceeded to drive incredibly fast through SF rush hour traffic to deposit us at a hotel that had no name on it and which we weren't 100% sure until we checked in was actually the Sheraton. It was and the room was light and bright and lovely. We ignored the inviting bed (it was only 7pm Saturday night SF time not 4am Sunday morning our time) and went out to find somewhere to eat.
