I started the days driving today and we headed off inland a little bit to head back down to the highway.
As we turned onto Highway 101, the song on the radio said the lyrics "getting back on the 101".
I'm not even kidding. The radio has just been creepily accurate this trip!!
We weren't on the 101 very long before we exited to get down to the coast road, which was now Highway 1.

We got in too late on Friday to pick up my credentials, so after check in we went for a walk to get something to eat and to buy a pair of shoes. We ate at Lori's Diner a couple blocks away from the hotel. It was downhill there, so the walk back sucked a little, but at least it was cool.

Also, a final note, when traveling to "The City" be prepared for the crazies. People just shouting to themselves, they don't mean any harm. One guy felt the call of nature, and just dropped is pants to his ankles, let it all out and went for it. On the footpath. At 11:30am.
