    ... case at Burbank and they would not proceed without a passport which of course none of us had thought to bring. As a result we had to get a taxi back to the hotel and then return to the rental agency so we could finally pick up the car. I took the first stint driving in the car which was a strange experience given the size of the car and the fact I was driving on the opposite to the hotel but thankfully I made it back to the hotel in one piece.
