We all woke up early to do the early slide shuffle: Holly and I prepped and packed ham sandwiches and potstickers (!) for the kids, we woke them up and they put on suits, Tad drove us to the main lobby to get our wristbands right at 8am, and then back to the other park main gate where we were the first people in line. ... booking like I was doing earlier in the trip. I find the spot on the GPS the internet said the dawn service was to be held. As I arrive, I see stalls and large novelty letters saying "G'day" and kangaroo cuttings and the wooden construction that will obviously be the opera house. I cruised past seeking a car park. We are entering the Main Rhine Danube canal which links the North Sea with the Black Sea. We will descend 243 feet through 3 locks in order to cross the continental divide. Pope Benedict, last pope, was from Regensburg. Founded in 179 AD. Village of approx 150,000 people. BMW factory is here. 6000 roman soldiers were stationed here. Everything north was barbarians.
