... it - we got to see some absolutely spectacular collectible and prestige vehicles, not just for sale but also owned by the thousands of people that had descended on Monterey. Last years auction sold $126m worth of cars in 2 days. I think the US economy may be showing signs of recovery..... Walked down to Fisherman's Wharf for a look around. Lots of very noisey seals hanging out in the sun and in the water. Had a couple of beers at the local brew house then headed out for dinner ...

... dolphins!!!! Wild dolphins swimming feet from the shore, it was incredible to watch. We came home and got ready to go out for a meal at a place called The Warehouse where they filmed a scene from Meet The Fockers. It's sort of like a beach shack sort of place and a bit themed. Arrived in sunny Santa Monica, and found a beach where we spent the day before asking the stupid gps for a campsite which turned out to be a bank ..... Found another site to stay but instead of a nice coastal drive bloody GPS lady (Sandra) decided to take us on the i405 during rush hour woop woop, Americans really can't drive they are almost as good as the Greek taxi drivers ...
