... from the greyhound terminal to bavlis house took ages. That's not to say she lives far away (she lives right next to the rocky steps) but the greyhound (i hate you) terminal is in woop woop. ... Ride the Ducks that morning and noticed that they had something called "Money in Motion" currently being exhibited inside. Given my area of specialization, the exhibit sounded really interesting to me.

My arrival in Philly came at 5am. I had known this would be my arrival time but maybe hadn't quite accepted the realities of arriving in a new city (one which I had been consistently warned off the dangers of) alone, in the pitch dark of night and with the drop off point being essentially nestled between a parking lot and a building site. ... weren't too far from the hostel so like true Brits we carried on walking! 2 seconds later the heavens opened and we found ourselves huddled in a tiny doorway absolutely soaked!!
