        We awoke to rain today so we were glad we had the rental car. We drove around San Francisco but not to downtown as the San Francisco Giants won the World Series the night we arrived and today was the celebratory parade, with roads closed and even museums closed in that area !         Met Kate at her apartment and We caught Muni train to Embarcadero where we Hired three 'ride the Parks' bikes at Market Square. We rode the bikes from Market Square to the Palace of Fine Arts which was beautiful. After a quick stop at the palace we continued our journey along the Presidio to Fort Point at the base of the Gateway Bridge.
