Today, we got to see two companies that changed the world and our guide got to tell us history behind the companies, how they grew and what buildings they used to own, bought out or whatever.     So beautiful to bike along the coast from SF southward.

    Lot of traffic today so we pulled over a bit to relax.

    Blue, hot, light breeze. The crawling traffic + wearing all gear makes it a tad hot and sweaty but we would never go without.

    ... found. Afternoon was experiments with felt lettering on Polaroids. Out to eat later with Lesley and Diane to great neighbourhood American traditional eatery- The Front Porch just off Mission at 30th. Bucket of fantastic fried chicken ( loads to take home) plus garlic mash & gravy, crunchy fruit n avocado salad followed by peach and blackberry cobbler with ice cream - just all so tasty - the in sufficient photos do not do it justice ...

    We had dinner at the Buckeye Roadhouse in Mill Valley, which is over the Golden Gate Bridge. It is mummy and daddy's favourite restaurant anywhere in the World (maybe equal with The Hand & Flowers dad says). I had crispy onion rings as a starter, and ribs with corn on the cob for my main.     ... the x-ray scan thing and get the full body pat-down (no homo), and it was surprisingly pain-free and unviolating. I think those TSA employees get excited about having something to do other than remind people to take off their shoes. Regardless, I guess this is how I'm starting this baby off.
