... Workshop Open House today, so I jumped off the ship and walked around the port for about an hour and a half before and an hour after. We then had our sail away party and the adventure is afloat!

The difference between last night’s park and the one pulled into today is like daylight and dark. I won’t even bother to describe the place; it’s way too bleak and dismal. The only thing pretty was the sunset. Again, it’s just for one night, and I’m sure if we lock our doors we’ll be all right.

... for some inexplicable reason was up two flights of stairs. We suspect that most people did not enjoy lugging their hand luggage up these stairs. We looked for the duty free shopping and can now assure everyone that it is much smarter to wait until Melbourne which has significantly cheaper goods and much greater variety. Hopefully we'll remember this if there is a next time for us.

... hostel I was staying at was **** because there was no place to chill out, only party. I found out I could not get a flight home for a good week. So I was stuck in this place. ... I decide to do just one more Big Kid activity - Universal Studios. I jumped on the apparently brand new subway and head to Universal City. Wisely I invested the extra cash for a 'Priority Pass'. This means that I got to look light a right wally by wearing a lanyard and laminated ticket around my neck, and got to wander past the queues of people outside the attractions and straight in. ... The rides were all virtual reality and pretty effective all round, our favourite was definitely "Jurasic Park" of which we have a great photo to remind us of what a pair of idiots we are!!! In the evening we decided to go watch a movie and then grab some dinner after.
