Patrick and Janet collaborated to give us a gift certificate to The Doubletree Inn downtown Portland. We were hoping to go to the coast, but that wasnt in the cards. With snowfall and winter conditions, we made it to the hotel after a great dinner at On The Border. This hotel provides warm cookies when you check in, which I think is a wonderful amenity. EJ went downstairs and came ...
Portland, Oregon, United States tkmoonstar... has thus far been ever present. This isn't my thesis, nor will be this published in the PH County Bulletin...so I will be embrace flaws and begin to cultivate a greater acceptance of my Self.
Just wanted to acknowledge this.

... guide helped! What a ****, honestly. Anyway at least i fell in early on and got it over with. There was no way i was going out agin after that!! The rest of the trip was wicked, some of the rapids were big and pretty intense but we made it through. Unsuprisingly my favourite was one called rock and roll. The whole day was kinda exxhaustin but SO much fun i'm a convert and will be doing it again without a doubt. Just call me Bond. That night we hit some bars and another strip club ...

According to Chris, Hillsboro is the home of companies such as Yahoo and Intel. This restaurant is fairly popular with their employees. We had Lamb Chukka (i wanted something hot), Mutton ...
Hillsboro, Oregon, United States haolegirl... I've gathered, and review details for New Zealand which I fly to on Dec. 5th. Arriving New Zealand - into rain! And the rain continued on the 6th, though with an afternoon of clouds-only to see the harbour areas, Parnell, the WinterGarden, and have lunch at a Mission Beach cafe. The rain turned even heavier as I rented a car and drove toward the Northland. I still stopped at Goat Island Reserve which is a special place even when weather prevents snorkeling. By Whangarei I was glad to ...

The ANSWER coalition is calling for mass mobilizations begining the week (Sept. 15) that the White House authored Petraeus report on the surge is due. Members of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), who are leading the September 15th march, are calling for a "die-in" to end the march and begin the rally. The vets, unlike ...
La Center, Washington, United States jmojica... We visited with Peter Dammann, in addition to Greg "shutterbug" Johnson and Terry Odor of The Cascade Blues Association and my old friend Bluesfantom Tom. I think everyone who went on that cruise had an amazing time - there were plenty of smiles and folks still dancing when the boat docked, hours later. Independence Day started early with superb weather as we headed towards the festival grounds with a brand new box of CD's in hand to consign at ...
Portland, Oregon, United States seancarney... always rains & we saw blue sky briefly only a couple of times!!!
We drove to Mt Hood, a couple of hours away to do some snowboarding & skiing & had a great day. The sun was even out that day!! One of the prettiest day trip we did was to drive along the Columbia River Gorge Rd, which forms a natural border with Washington ...
... you know, I won't want to spend all day laying on the sun deck with a drink in one hand and a magazine in the other. I have my list of things to double check before I leave. Important things I still have to buy. This is my pre-trip readiness. It's taken 2 days and a very tight schedule to make sure everything is aligned and done correctly. Next: Friday morning flight and Miami experience (this should be fun...my mom wants to go to South Beach).
Hillsboro, Oregon, United States tklinkenToday was a waterfall day. Jacci and Mark were up and outta there early. I got up around 9am and started cleaning and packing. Tony got up a bit later. We drove to Paradise again and hiked to Myrtle Falls and beyond. We stopped by more waterfalls and Reflection Lake on our way out of the park. Then it was back to Portland.
