... it back to our hotel by about 9:30. The last thing the kids did tonight was ride the carousel. I was interested to see a young couple get on and ride whilst their wedding photographer took pictures. They had just gotten married. So they will have a little Tilda and a little Darcy in their wedding album. ... Palo Alto and realising that this place was again such a gorgeous city we decided to head back to the hotel and chill out by the pool for some R&R. This was a little weird in itself as we were the only ones there the whole afternoon - was nice but weird!

... a small one situated in the old Kensington Park Hotel. It wasn't a big lavish Broadway style show but was still quite enjoyable with an enthusiastic cast.

As the theatre was in Post Street, just one block from the border of Tenderloins, I decided it might be OK to walk back to our Hotel and it turned out I was correct. You really just have to know which streets are safe to walk down it appears.

... climbed up to Ridgecrest road where we’d hoped to enjoy the signature views looking down on Stinson Beach and Bolinas Lagoon. On this day though we could barely see 50 yards in front of us up on the ridge, where we found ourselves shrouded in a thick fog and buffeted by high winds.
