... to test it out on the open road to Las Vegas! The hotel is great, a separate room with a telly for the kids, nice and clean, great pool, and so close to Disneyland. We filled in some time buying groceries, and tackling the left hand side of the road, very bizarre!! ... eating at night by the sea. Everything was really well-made. However, the attraction's lines all varied between 30 and 60 minutes, which were very long waits. We could have done so much more rides if we didn't have to wait that long but I guess it is part of the Disneyland's experience.

After arriving at Santa Cruz KOA in the dark, we were very pleasantly surprised at the camp when we woke up the next morning as it was very "fancy" (as Celyn would put it!). It was also nice and warm! Yay for being back on the coast!! Big Sur was the destination for today, only 60 miles down the road another relief as we had travelled over 300 miles in the previous couple of days.
