... Cod (yes I know that is a long way to walk). This cape cod is at a very grand old hotel, the Drake Hotel.

Located in the Gold Coast neighborhood, Cape Cod has been a Chicago favorite since 1933. This old-world, charming restaurant features an oyster bar and offers fresh seafood from around the world.

Since its opening, many great people have left their mark on the Cape Cod. To this day visitors of Cape Cod can see the initials ...

Sunday evening and most places were closed. Two choices- a steakhouse (at $50-60 per steak) or a sports bar.....yes, the sports bar it is. Even here we were ushered into the 'nicer area' towards the back of the bar. The food was very good and, surprisingly for the first time in the US, was ...

... state circus , so took a u turn and went down the right way and watched all the boats come in and out of the shore, very lovely afternoon indeed! Time had come for us to try another American delicacy : funnel cake... A deep fried doughnuts kind of thing that's squeezed out of a funnel into the oil to make a lattice of goodness ! Thank The Lord we got one to share ! After a nice stroll home and chill for a little while we had to try another Chicago famed food (obviously ) and we ...
