... see the lake so we headed towards the shore, only to be prevented by a music festival which had taken over the park at the lake side. We tried to get round it and probably went the long way round and managed to get tangled up in the fans going to a Chicago Bears game. ... the cab companies are trying to shut Uber down (or prevent it from starting) in some US cities, but we thought it was a good concept and were happy to have given it a try.

We enjoyed our stay in Chicago, although the weather probably discouraged us from getting out and seeing as much as we would have liked. We have always noted how nice Chicago looks in the movies, and would be keen to visit there again - during a warmer part of the year!
