A quick turnaround and we decided a change of transport was in order so we hopped on a cable car - it was standing room only but it made for a fun ride down to the Pier.  After a stroll along the many Piers, via a bar for a couple of beers, and we were at Pier 33 for our evening trip to Alcatraz. Setting off at 6pm we crossed the bay for the 1 and a half mile journey which gave us a lovely view back to the city ...

Got changed and headed out to Little Italy for our last night dinner. Went to a lovely place where surprise surprise John-Henry had pizza again!

Once we got back to the apartment we had the huge task of packing and trying to distribute our mountain of purchases evenly between the bags. We put as much of the heavy stuff like shoes in the cabin bags cos we were a bit worried about how much excess luggage we had.
