After we finished at the library we walked to the Rockefeller centre to look at the tree and venture to the top to check out the view. The weather was perfect and the view would be spectacular. But wow. The crowd around the tree was insurmountable. Normally a wide thoroughfare between a couple of the buildings allows for easy access, but today not so. The crowd was a seething ...
... only when I got to the archives that I remembered there is very little phone signal here. I was about to ring and saw on my phone "no service". And given the problems I had trying to FaceTime Hannah and co for her birthday, I contemplated another route.
When I booked the taxi (through shuttle wizard, highly recommended, and very reasonably priced from my experience) they were unable to do the slightly cheaper ...
