... is too long but this was a beautiful area and it is strange to look out and be surrounded by mountains. It was also confusing on what city you were in since they all blend together...Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe and 3 or four others. The homes blend in with the landscaping since everything is brown. Although we are not in the Wild West it was strange to follow someone inside a store with a gun in his back pocket (legal). I had Nopales con Asada o Pollo - chuck roll beef, grilled cactus, fresh cheese and guacamole. Stephanie had a Pollo Quesadilla. Tracy had a Chorizo Burro (a mexican sausage burrito) and Greg had Peluche - grilled steak, pieces of bacon, sausage, ham, bell pepper, onions with pineapple and jalapenos.

... no we didn't hit anybody... I mean we went to a Mexican restaurant called Me Amigo; we wouldn't hit a friend would we. jeezz... However by the time we had freshened up, debated the hostels grand canyon tour, and gone to book onto it for two days time, the rest of the group had left, so the four of us wandered there ourselves. The BEST news is....I finally received the email about my host family and my roommates in the middle of my Vegas trip!!!
