... But did you know NASCAR's cannot be run on a wet track surface. So after waiting patiently for the majority of the day, watching the rain get heavier and then lighter, we were a but guttered to hear that racing has be postponed until Sunday.

We unfortunately had a plane to catch to Dallas, Texas, no NASCAR racing for us :(
Oh well, got the t-shirt and the cap and a reason to come back! ...

... the USA from the East Coast to the West Coast, ending up in North Carolina. Meaning we have passed through the States of Washington, Idaho, Montanna, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina (through 14 states!)

Some people here have never even been outside their State - so we have gone through quite a few!

Our flight landed EARLY! in Charlotte at 3:22. We're still flabbergasted that our flight had so few people. We counted only 60 passengers at the baggage pickup area. We're surprised but relieved that it wasn't cancelled. On the downside it took 35 minutes for our baggage to appear in area baggage area after we deplaned. We went to breakfast with Zach (I got to ride shotgun in Roxy, and got to witness Southern friendliness firsthand), where we all over-ordered and basically died from our food consumption. Visited Whole Foods. Took a trip down the halls of PDS (far too nice), and then hung out at his house. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...
