Started my first big trip today! Today was DCA to CLT, CLT to Grand Cayman, Grand Cayman back to CLT. We're in Charlotte overnight tonight. Tomorrow is Charlotte to to San Jose, Puerto Rico and back to Charlotte. Monday is Charlotte to Tampa. I can't wait for that leg cause we have a long layover in Tampa and I need some time in the sun. This is a historic site. There was a Revolutionary War battle fought here and also a Civil War battle fought here. This plantation house was used in the movie "The Patriots" with Mel Gibson. We caught the shuttle back to the airport at 11:45. This is the last day of this trip. My instructor told me that she could have passed me on the 1st day or the 2nd day but she didn't want to because if she would have, they would have taken me off the trip and probably put me on reserve. Highlights: 1. Went shopping on Wednesday for souvenirs. That was probably the most stressful part of the trip- go figure. We had been hearing about this ginormous tent in downtown San Jose that had anything you're little touristy heart so desired. Indeed, they were right.
