Pre Travel

A travel blog entry by abbeyholley on Jan 06, 2015

In about 9 days I am leaving for San Ramon, Costa Rica. I will be in Costa Rica for five months as I spend a semester studying abroad. I have always dreamed of studying abroad and knew it was something important for me to do. While it is going to be hard to leave my family and the people I care about I know that this adventure will allow me to grow as a person. We went to a Charlotte Knights game with his mom (his dad wasn't feeling well), which was super fun. Then we got dinner at a place with great biscuits, and just hung out some ...

I'm so excited to be on my way to Costa Rica that I hardly mind having a three hour layover. Luckily, I've gotten great at napping in airports, since last time I was in Charlotte I had to spend the night sleeping on the ground. I was able to nap a bit and 2 hours of the lay over went over really quickly. Charlotte's airport isn't one of my favorites, but at least they have Pinkberry! Definitely a nice last treat in the US. Just one more hour until my ...
