Michael took me on a train, this is on the famous elevated railway that you see in most movies and TV shows with Chicago in them. Along the way we went over the Chicago River and saw the famous line of bridges that connect the north and south roads at this point:

When we got out of the train we went down to street level and it was just like in the movies...

... were off on holiday the next day and so unfortunately it was to be a pretty hands off hosting which they seemed to be very apologetic for.

I woke up the next day to giggling noises through the air vent near the ceiling (I was staying in the basement) and when I looked up I was greeted by 2 very excited little people waving at me. I quickly went upstairs to meet and play with the children, managing to damage one in the process ...
