... another hour through some beautiful countryside dotted with farms, only to be greeted by a traffic jam 7 kilometers (4 miles) from our destination of Grand Bend. After a 45 minute slow crawl, we were greeted by Colleen's cousin, Karen, and spent the evening catching up with she and her husband, Rob. We sat out in their lovely, private backyard and enjoyed a drink before ordering up dinner from a local eatery. It's good to land in one place for a few days.

Yesterday we drove from Meadville to Kalamazoo getting in about 4 PM. We met Robin at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art where she works as Registrar and took a brief tour of their new exhibits. Last night we did Italian and tonight we ate at the Food Dance, a restaurant that accents local foods where possible.
