We now are in San Antonio. We are staying at my grandparents house for three days and they have agreed to let me and my two brothers to work for them for shearing sheep. My grandparents own a sheep farm there. We got paid $15 an hour and worked for 7 hours, all three days we stayed. We made a total of $915. ... monitor the guages (must be a habit from when I flew airplanes) and I noticed the heat guage sliding up the scale a tad. Then it pegged at HOT. I pulled over along side the road and let it cool down. Gail made us a sandwich and we just enjoyed the buffeting as the semi's roared by us. ... chat with the bartender and a couple of locals Ginger and Bailey who said they were trying to move to Seattle sometime soon. They assured us that San Antonio was the best city in TX. Finished the night at a Mexican restaurant called Rosario's which had some pretty tasty food, if a little expensive for Mexican.
We have walked 6 miles today in the freezing cold, and still not checked out the Alamo (the #1 attraction). Tomorrow that box will be checked.
