San Antonio part 2: Today I wandered off the key tourist spots, but still along San Antonio's Riverwalk.
On the way to a Mexican hot spot, I stopped at the Spanish Governor's Palace built in the Adobe style of architecture. Then, I found a charity second hand shop. In case, I run out of proper clothes, there I find everything I need for about 3.99 USD a piece. Lunch has happend at a Mexican restaurant (see separate entry on food).

For breakfast at the motel I could select from donuts, muffins, waffels, and
bananas. Of course, no low carb options! However, the waffels were good as you
could make them yourself (see photo).

Now for lunch and dinner you can choose between Mexican or Texas BBQ. Mexican
basically means tacos or enchiladas, both always served with rice and black
beans. BBQ options are steak or ribs.

travelling you meet wonderful people, some you only have a fleeting
acquaintance with, while others can become part of your life and you keep in
touch with them over many years.

One such
couple live in San Antonio. Ann and John
were just fantastic hosts to Margaret and myself along with our great friends
Bill and Carol when we visited here seven years ago.

... like laminate and the color is dark oak. The linen closet floor isn't quiet as neat as the other floor which was in there, but it doesn't look too bad. Now the rest of the floor should be fairly easy since it is all now just a big box. Hopefully it will only be a couple more days.
