... and American Doll. Yes, we splurged on a Bitty doll for Kylee and Legos for Kaleb. I think I just went into the Lego Store to get some of my manliness back after spending time in an outrageously, expensive, girly store. Nonetheless, Kaleb and Kylee we're excited. We made a trip to the John Hancock Tower with our City Pass but forgot that we used that pass at the Science and Industry Museum. So we came back out and headed ...

It's a very different pace from NYC, the roads are very broad and long and leafy. The grass and trees arena olive green colour as opposed to the lush green in NYC. There seems a very lazy type place to live, very much home away from home. Our train is called - all passengers for Chicago. It's an Amtrak ...

Saturday was our first full day in Chicago, so we left the hotel about 9am in search of breakfast - it appears the residents of Chicago love their breakfasts, so we had to wait a while but found a great, authentic breakfast diner, which filled us up for a large part of the day. Had a walk over the river, past Trump building and then caught the famous Chicago Loop (yet another urban form of transport for my list). Unlike the misleadingly named Skytrain ...
