I was up at 7.15am this morning, got ready and decided what I wanted to do today/made a list of what was left that I hadn't yet done! I then went to get a muffin on the 4th floor and left the hotel. I walked to Times Square and got the subway at 42nd street down to South Ferry to get the ferry over to the Statue of Liberty for 9.15am. ... the case at ALL. In fact, one group was so loud and distracting I moved to the other side of the memorial so I could actually focus. I wonder why the same expectation isn't held here? NYC is busy. It is full of people and vehicles. I kept trying to imagine what it was like on that day. The amount of chaos must have been .....just.....I can't even find the words.
