... near misses due to one way systems and me forgetting to drive on the right! As we entered Santa Barbara we saw signs for ‘tourist information’ which was closed but fortunately had free maps of the town outside! Phew! We only had the address of the guy (George) that we were to crash with but he didn’t finish work until 10pm. ... to month end I had the opportunity to fly up to Calgary for 4 days to explore a business proposition in the consulting space. Time well spent with a client in the Oil & Gas industry delivering negotiation training to the Procurement team was balanced with my first NHL experience with a night at the Saddle Dome. Luckily for the Calgary Flames were able to overcome the poorly performing Buffalo Sabres 4-1.
