Took a nice ride on the bike down CA-1 South through Santa Cruz. That evening the work gang represented. Kim, Terri, Lisa, Doris, and Dennis stopped by for bbq and drinks. Good to catch up and I certainly miss the people at DCHS and it is sad what they are going through with the sale of the organization.

... have not been able to see a lot of this stuff because it really is necessary to have a car. It is really hard to find public transport outside of San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. Claire and I both love the beach and although we live in a place that doesn't have nice weather or beaches, it is very nice to have free flights and be just a two hour flight from home. We will definitely be coming down here yearly.
