We then were parked on Highway 10 for an hour to move 10 miles to finally arrive on Ocean Blvd to our hotel Loews Santa Monica! Arrived at 8:30.
Dinner at Pizza Antica at 9:30, and it was nothing like the original Pizza Antica's up north. Blah. We walked the 3rd St Promenade and headed back the hotel.

We went around to Chris & Aya's early today - that is at 8.40am, so that she could go to an appointment at the transport office, to get a handicapped sign for the car. Mohini and I walked around the campus. She showed me the art museum. There, we ran into her friend. Her friend explained the museum to us. There were so many interesting art there including stainless steel, which at first appeared to be fabrics.

We have spent most of today waiting for our flight to Honolulu at San Fran airport. We were just about to board when it was announced our plane had 'lavatory' issues. A part had to be flown from Chicago which means nearly a nine hour delay for us. Joy! We all got some reading done but would rather be doing that on a beach :) The plane has now returned to the gate, presumably with working loos (which are kinda crucial) so it looks promising that we will leave at ...
