    ... was hard to believe we were actually on Malibu beach. By this time the sun was blaring down. After an hour and a half on the beach people watching and tanning we decided to head over the road to an upstairs restaurant. Kirsty enjoyed a Malibu cocktail and we sat for a while basking the sun and enjoying bruschetta and the wifi.

    ... complaint and the jumper cables stayed in the bag unused. Things were, at last, looking up.

    We got Elephant back to the hotel and spent the remainder of the day sorting through our gear, slowly building a pile of clothing and other items we would leave to the housekeeping ladies and a second pile for the rubbish.     Rich has his first major giggling fit whilst trying to tell Dylan off. He is explaining the ins and outs of whatever Dylan had done and Dylan is listening with his eyes shut, eyebrows raised, and head cocked up. The cheekiness was all too much for Rich. Dylan then proceeded to giggle each time Rich spoke setting him off again. Heaven help us.
