Well, my last blog.

Although it was a bit cold with some rough seas, we
had a good three days sailing to Sydney. Saw a couple of shows and movies which
were all good. Also, managed to have a few drinks at the back bar as well.

... visit to Sydney would be complete without a little time in Manly. Appearing wild and uninhabited most of the north shore is tree covered rocks included in the Sydney Harbour National Park with communities tucked in behind it hidden from the water. If you are feeling adventurous you can walk from Manly through this park to Mosman. Or you can just hang out at Manly's famous surf beach taking in a couple of waves or watching the locals too see how it's done. ...

... to stay in a tent in Sydney - it was me. Donna was dead set against it but we managed to find common ground and so the tent option won out. But there will be a more luxurious night ahead I suspect.....

We had the car booked in to get the headlight replaced at the NRMA at Artarmon 8am, so we turned up on time (for us) at 8.45am, after an apologetic phone call. Then we walked down to St Leonard's station to catch the train ...

... to Auckland early the next day. We have really enjoyed Australia, and it has gone incredibly quickly. We have only scratched the surface of the East Coast, so it is definitely on our 'must come back' list. The people have been really friendly, the weather (considering it is winter) has treated us to some warm sunny days and the food portions have been more than we could handle. We are now putting on our coats and readying ourselves for over a month of New Zealand ...
