Today was a drive day so we got up early and packed up and hit the road. The drive all up was about 700 km so a big day in a van towing a trailer. It was a pretty uneventful drive with a couple of stops at gas stations along the way. Roasted loin for about an hour, then added water and left on fire overnight -- worked fine! Not rare, but not risky either.
Very hot and humid in tent -- I just used towel as blanket, and that only later part of night. Fitful sleep and Anna thought at least one mosquito in inner tent.
But the facilities were superb. We had a joint shower in the disabled shower -- don't tell anybody!
