... Thanks for following along, it's been fun and gratifying to know friends and family have been on the trip with us.

Many have commented it was "the trip of a lifetime". Well, yes... but we hope not, more one of our trips during our lifetime. We're already thinking about where to go next.

Small play area - it's just out of sight of the pitches. 1/2 signal on EE but still got ...

Had a pretty uneventful journey back up to the Middlands, even the M25 was clear. Staying on a nice site in Drayton Bassett on a farm next to some entertaining chickens, a couple of sheep and a few cows. Had a lovely catch up chat with Caroline & Bryher followed by the photo of a news paper article below. It's good to know we're not the only ones abandoning our children ...

... a simple but tasty dinnner back at the apartment, local pork sausages, some shop bought chutney, lightly steamed corn, carrots and broccoli. It might sound a bit ordinary but it's fresh and tasty, instead of restaurant food all the time. It seems like wine reps from a few Australian companies have swept through the country, so selections from McGuigan and Jacobs Creek are available in supermarkets at a little bit more than Italian ...
