On the way back to our car Larry surprised us by taking us on a rollercoaster ride up and down some of LA's incredibly steep streets - the girls loved it! Larry did a fantastic job and we learnt a lot about the city and got to see parts of it that we would never had got to had we done it on our own. It was money well spent. LA has surprised and inpressed me. I had expected a big fairly ugly city with some ...

Our room overlooks the ocean but we just dump the cases and grab a couple of cocktails then off for a walk past the pier and along the beach to people watch. The last couple of days in LA were quite low-key – having moved hotel (again) to be closer to the airport, we made our way to the ‘Staples Center’ in Downtown LA to watch the LA Lakers take on the Portland Trailblazers. It was a cracking game of basketball – and Zoe ...

Girls very very excited for the big day at Universal Studios. Made our way out there with only a few Navman issues. Seriously, this Navman is on a bender and was causing us no end of cursing. No crowds to be seen and sort of had this place to ourself, so front of the line passes were irrelevant, but they did look pretty cool around our necks and made us feel important. If only we had them in Disney world!! Great family day out as we all did (even mum) the ...
