It was a little like Santa Barbara, only hipper with more volleyball courts and even more expensive bikes. For a change we had arrived at our destination with the sun still high in the sky, so we treated ourselves to a bit of a lounge on the seafront and a good hour of SM people (and bike) watching. We were staying at a Warmshower that evening, so there was no rush. After ...

My arrival on June 5th - The first thing I noticed is that I was not in LA anymore. Between the sheitels, the scarves and the multiple styles of orthodox dress (I mean no disrespect to anyone) and not hearing Spanish, I knew I wasn't even in Pico Robertson. . . .drum roll please . . . I was FINALLY in Israel!!! After being on a plane with ...

... front. I'd seen his place on one of those profile shows on Foxtel - it was pretty distinctive.
We continued rolling along until we got to Malibu. I have to say, it was one of the ugliest places we have seen on the trip. There is no beach access at all. These mega rich fools have ensured that the common man can not access public land. The houses and all really tacky too, built right to the road and across the 10 metres to the high water mark. I'm not ...
