... them, splashed with them, rubbed heads, tails, flukes and even floated with them. I am not quite sure what mom thought, but after it was over Dad had said well, I could have done that. He didn't want to when we scheduled it because he wasn't comfortable with being in the water with the whales not being a good swimmer, but afterwords he was acting like he wished he could have done it. After that we went to the showers, cleaned up and headed out. We went ...
San Antonio, Texas, United States kayaker902... got back to the van the clouds rolled in and rain began to fall. Amazing! We managed to find our way out of the chaos of interstates and highway's and crazy entrances and exits for the highways without much problem but I will complain now about the hotel. Seriously, has anyone ever seen a hotel with an address on the interstate. Well, ours did and when I called because we could not find this hotel for anything we couldn't ...
The history of San Antonio is the story of his 5 missions, the most important and famous THE ALAMO, founded in 1718. Spanish Franciscans settled in ...
... eight days and I've ridden my bike approximately 500 miles - needless to say I was bushed.
We spent the night at Bruce and Carolyn's house. I got the spare room upstairs, Bob got the sofa in the den which he shared with Bullet the dog. We'll pack my bike Sunday morning. My flight home leaves at 1:29 PM and I should get back to Greensboro at 5:00 PM - just in time to go to Bill & Leah's.

... had NO wifi access. So, the next morning off we took for Arlington—we were both getting very anxious to get home but didn’t want to drive too far in one day—it’s just not safe. Seamus, once again, decided to ride in the trailer but it stayed cool enough because it seems that the DFW area was going to get rain, of all things. We got in nice and early to TreeTops RV park which is a really neat ...
San Antonio, Texas, United States patgower Unfortunatly at this point in this trip, I was pretty exhausted. I got to San Antonio after a 12 hour drive from El Paso, and was only scheduled to stay for the night. I sadly didn't do anything but go into the hostel and talk to a Scottish guy that was staying there for some time before going to bed to get ready for my next drive.
Not much here, sorry about that guys.
... but there is little information on him. The library is not busy at all. We feel that we are the first and only customer in a long while, considering the Alamo gets about 3 million visitors per year. Out of curiosity, we ask the librarian if we are the first customer of the day. His answer: 'We are busy, you are the fourth visitor to the library for this morning' Wow! Jeez... just imagine, if we wait until later we might have to wait in line. About 8 or 9 blocks away is the ...
San Antonio, Texas, United States phungsterLeft Midland this morning for a five hour drive to San Antonio where we are staying wth Tom and Beth - the owners of the company which Kevin works for. Had a quiet trip down - Richie won on a lottery scratchcard - maybe he should have played the slots in Vegas for us. Tom and Beth had a barbecue ready for us and we spent the evening on rocking chairs and swings on their porch watching wild deer play in their garden.
San Antonio, Texas, United States athboybrownsKelly took the boys on a trolley tour of downtown San Antonio this morning and then they walked around River Walk and had lunch. They visited the old 'Davy Crockett Hotel.'(see pic's) I had some work to do and stayed back at the RV. Although they enjoyed the tour, the boys were most excited about their winnings from the 'claw' machine. They can't pass one up without feeding it a few quarters. We have been ...
San Antonio, Texas, United States thesteelesLeah and I stayed here on our honeymoon on this week back in 1988 when we were married. Through the years we would make numerous trips to San Antonio and the hill country of Texas camping, river tubing and theme parking/sight seeing. I believe it to be one of the favorite destinations of Christen and Jake as well.
