    ... certainly glad that we did. There was an elegant inside bath, which had a touch of luxury about it and outside there was a round wooden tub for one.     ... As with the other Ryokan that we stayed in, our arrival sparked a flurry of activity from the staff as they got us checked in and into slippers with maximum efficiency. Once we were in our room, we were soon being helped into Yukatas and seated at the low table for a pot of green tea.     ... tempura veg and prawns. They were really nice. Then came back a third time with rice and fruit to finish. Perfect. We had some wine and beers with our meal. It was a really surreal experience. We were laughing the whole way through. I pulled Noel under the table by his ankles. It was funny. After dinner we headed out to the public onsens.
